Knights win contest against Bucks County CC

Powered by Randy Dupont’s (pictured) 34 points, the Knights outscored the visiting Centurions 101–91 in a shootout on Saturday at East Pennsboro High School.

Central Penn led nearly the entire game and threatened to pull away several times, but the visitors––with six players in double figures––kept surging back only to be repelled by the Knights’ own offensive firepower.

“We were able to hold a lead throughout the basketball game with some clutch baskets and excellent rebounding,” said Knights Coach Gary Martin.

Joining Dupont in double figures for CPC were Nate Jean-Philippe and Aaron Harrison, both with 19, and Tyler Hunter, who contributed 13. Dupont and Hunter both grabbed 11 boards, as well.

The Knights will travel to Bryant & Stratton (Rochester) on Saturday. Tip-off is 2 p.m.
