Knights Baseball is BACK: The 2023 Recap and What to Look Forward to in 2024

Last season the Central Penn baseball team finished with a 19-16 overall record (Most wins in a single season) and with a 5-3 record in ESAC play. The Knights defeated long-time rival Bucks County Community College 5-4 to win the 2023 Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) Championship (First-ever in program history)!
 
The 2024 roster is returning some key players, with some new and returning players expected to take on big roles this season. The lineup returns ESAC All Conference Team selections, Adam Hoover, Nate Wise, Owen Zell, and Zach Boyer. ESAC Coach of the Year honors also went to Central Penn’s Head Coach Robert Stern. There were also many national United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) honors with many of those All-American candidates returning to include: Four USCAA Academic All-Americans Zach Boyer, Owen Zell, Nick Fulton, and Dylan Younghans. Three USCAA All-Americans Nate Wise (First Team), Zach Boyer (Second Team), and Owen Zell (Honorable Mention) as well.
 
The Knights open the season on the road at Mid Atlantic Christian on Friday, Feb. 23 at 6:00pm followed by a double header Feb. 24 at Mid Atlantic Christian at 12:00pm and 2:00pm. Central Penn’s home opener is scheduled for Tuesday March 19 for a double header against Penn State Hazleton starting at 12:00 pm. The Knights are scheduled to have 16 games at FNB Stadium this season.
