Rodney Ross Male Student Athlete of the Month

Central Penn College would like to congratulate Rodney Ross on being named Student Athlete of the Month for the month of February! Our Student Athlete of the Month award is not only someone who excels on the field/court, but someone who takes pride in academics and is involved in community service/leadership. Thanks so much to our partnership with Duck Donuts, we are able to provide our honorees with some Duck Donuts merch as well as gift cards for a dozen of their amazing donuts!

I am nominating Rodney Ross! 

Student Athlete of The Month for February from our Men's Basketball Team is Rodney Ross. Rodney is a Senior Point Guard from Philadelphia, Pa and Mastery Charter High School. Rodney, has been our floor leader since day number 1. He runs our offense and sets our defense. Rodney also is our trap man in our full court pressure defense. Rodney, does an excellent job of rebounding on the offensive and defensive ends of the court for a point guard. Rodney, over his playing career at Central Penn College has been on the Honor Roll several semesters. Rodney, has excelled on the court as well as in the classroom. Rodney, on Senior Day February 24th in front of his teammates, friends and family Rodney had a terrific shooting day. Scoring a career high 43 points, making a school record 10 three pointers and grabbing 7 rebounds. The Knights defeated Cheyney State on Senior Day 96-72.
