Rodney Ross Male Student Athlete of the Month

Central Penn College would like to congratulate Rodney Ross on being named Student Athlete of the Month for the month of December! Our Student Athlete of the Month award is not only someone who excels on the field/court, but someone who takes pride in academics and is involved in community service/leadership. Thanks so much to our partnership with Duck Donuts, we are able to provide our honorees with some Duck Donuts merch as well as gift cards for a dozen of their amazing donuts!

I am nominating Rodney "Rod" Ross! 

Student Athlete of The Month for December from our Men's Basketball Team is Rodney Ross (ROD). He is a Jr. from Philadelphia, Pa. where he attended Mastery Charter.

Rodney has been doing a wonderful job of leading our team. As the point guard, Rodney realizes the responsibilities of putting his teammates in the proper spots on offense, defense and while we are pressuring our opponents in our full court pressure defense.

Rodney is having a lot of success from the point guard position. He is averaging over 17 points, 6 rebounds and is currently in the top 10 in the USCAA in assists.

Off the basketball court Rodney is doing well. He is working towards his Information Technology degree.
