Knights Basketball Gets Out in the Community

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Central Penn's men's basketball team connected with The Salvation Army in Harrisburg to be of service and help serve lunch/ice cream for lunch as well as pulling weeds around the facility.

Salvation Army board member Sheri Holsinger Collins connected the team with the location and needed volunteers to step up and help out on Wednesday July 23rd. Head Coach Kenton Alston, Assistant Coach Richard Wise, Senior Bersy Moundzieho, and Sophomore Cameron Wilson served lunch and ice cream to the kids for lunch and also put in some work outdoors pulling weeds outside of the beautiful facility.

“There is no better investment in our community than one that supports our youth and our future generations, so glad our program could be a part of that!” says Head Men’s Basketball Coach Kenton Alston
