Bio

Lucas Morrison joins the Central Penn College men’s basketball coaching staff with a strong background in player development, team management, and professional basketball operations. In addition to his new role at Central Penn, Morrison serves as the General Manager and Assistant Coach of the Red Rose Thunder, a professional basketball team competing in The Basketball Tournament (TBT). Since 2023, he has overseen roster construction, scouting, and player development, helping guide the Thunder to competitive success on a national stage.

Morrison brings extensive experience in program leadership, having balanced responsibilities as both a coach and a front-office executive. His expertise includes talent evaluation, game preparation, and designing organizational systems to support team performance. At Central Penn, he will play a key role in recruiting, practice planning, and mentoring student-athletes both on and off the court.

Beyond basketball, Morrison has worked in technology and business management, giving him a unique perspective on leadership, strategy, and organizational growth. He is committed to building a culture of accountability, hard work, and continuous improvement within the Knights basketball program.
