Bobby Rockwell Male Student Athlete Of The Month

Central Penn Athletics would like to congratulate Bobby Rockwell on being named Student Athlete of the Month for the month of September! Our Student Athlete of the Month award is not only someone who excels on the field/court, but someone who takes pride in academics and is involved in community service/leadership. Thanks so much to our partnership with Duck Donuts, we are able to give our honorees some Duck Donuts merch as well as a gift card for a dozen of their amazing donuts!

Coach Osborne’s nomination:

My Athlete of the Month will be Bobby Rockwell. He has started all 8 games for us as a center midfielder contributing on both sides of the field. Only has 5 points to date (2 goals, 1 assist), but has been monumental in controlling the center of the pitch during the first half of the season. Along with his dedication on the field, he has done a great job at balancing both academics and athletics, finishing the summer term with a solid 3.33 GPA. With his quiet demeanor, he has emerged as a “by example” leader on the team and someone we will continue to rely on to be a great representative of our program’s standards and culture.
