Knights Cruise To Victory Over The Mechanics

HARRISBURG, PA. – Central Penn's men's soccer team erupted for another conference win in a convincing 8-1 victory over rival Williamson Trade (4-2, 1-1 Conference) on a dreary Friday evening at Skyline Sports Complex.

Five different Knights found the back of the net, as Blake Eiserman, Jacob Philippe, Adam Youssef, Dylan Luong, and Amson Charleston recorded goals.

GAME SUMMARY

Central Penn (7-1-1, 3-0 Conference) scored early and often during Friday's home matchup and the Knights took advantage of the Mechanics being on the road in tough conditions.

Not long into the game, it went downhill for the Mechanics as they “accidently” scored a goal on our behalf to give us a 1-0 lead. Both Dylan Luong (31:00) and Jake Philippe (42:53) would help create a cushion for the Knights going into the half at 3-0.

The Mechanics tried to get back into the game a few minutes into the second half with what would end up being the only goal for Williamson Trade scored by Rob Wagner. The Knights struck again just moments later as Adam Youseff scored the first (51:55) of his three total goals in the game.

In the blink of an eye, Williamson Trade brought their bench in, and the Knights would go on a run scoring 4 more goals (Adam Youseff (2), Blake Eiserman, and Amson Charleston) to finish the game at 8-1 in a dominant fashion.

Goalie Andrew Hunter only allowed one goal and had five saves on six shots on goal.
