Knights Power Past Penn State Greater Allegheny 3-0

HARRISBURG, PA. – Central Penn's men's soccer team continued their strong season by dominating 3-0 in a win over USCAA Penn State Greater Allegheny (2-8-3, 2-2) on City Island Friday afternoon.  

GAME SUMMARY

Central Penn (8-1-1, 3-0) came out slow to start the game, but defensively held their ground leaving the game scoreless in the first half.

After halftime, the Knights got the message by getting their first goal at 64:03 unassisted by Oscar Flores to give Central Penn the 1-0 lead. We would go on to score two more goals as these players reward each other by assisting each other’s goals with one from Jake Philippe (83:11) assisted by Adam Youssef then a few minutes later Adam Youssef scored off an assist by Jake Philippe (88:03) which would be the final score of 3-0.

The Knights defensive unit was strong in limiting the Lions to 5 shots and 5 shots on goal. Goalie Andrew Hunter (1 save) protected the goal as usual.
