Men’s Soccer Suffer Setback to Pitt Johnstown

Johnstown, Pa. –Central Penn Knights men’s soccer team suffered a 0-5 setback in non-conference NCAA Division II action on Saturday afternoon, September 27th.

GAME SUMMARY

The Mountain Cats (4-1-0) proved the aggressors from the outset and eventually struck hot when Ryan Kyei Boahen earned his first career hat trick within the first 52 minutes of the match and Jacob Tichnell scored the final goal to make it 5-0. 

NOTABLES

- Alan Felipe spent all 90 minutes in goal for the Knights, recording 9 saves on the day

- Anthony Cervantes and Isaac Melendez led Central Penn with two shot attempts each, one of which was on frame for Cervantes

The Knights will face non-conference opponent Penn State Lehigh Valley Tuesday September 30th kickoff is set for 4p.m at PS Lehigh Valley.
