Women's Soccer Hosts ID Clinic For Recruits

On Sunday, October 8, 2023, the Central Penn Women’s Soccer Team hosted their second-ever ID clinic on their home pitch at the Skyline Sports Complex on City Island.

There were nine prospective student athletes in attendance. The attendees had the opportunity participate in a high-level collegiate training session and play in small-sided games.

Training was provided for both field players and goalkeepers.

Coach Grubesky said, “I was pleased that our top two 2024 recruits were able to attend along with some younger players that we wanted to get on our radar as we track their progress through high school.”

Grubesky added, “I was also happy that the participants got to meet and work with my assistant coaches. I am very proud that Caitlin Brownley and Amanda Knaub are on my coaching staff because they are such great teachers of the game and are a big help with recruiting future Central Penn players.

Afterwards, the participants were able to travel back to the campus for a tour and to continue to interact with coaches and current players.

According to Coach Grubesky, “We also plan to host two ID clinics in 2024, probably in April and August next year.”
