Bio

An acclaimed and accomplished player in her own right, Kasey brings a lively enthusiasm and know-how to Central Penn College Athletics.

Kasey has grown up around various sports but excelled in the game of basketball. She was a four-year starter in high school and college, Kasey played her scholastic basketball at Bishop McDevitt High School (2005 graduate) then at Immaculata University (2009 graduate).  While studying Exercise Science at Immaculata, Kasey was a four-year all-tournament team selection, earned several CSAC Player of the Week honors, and led her team to three consecutive playoff appearances.  Playing guard for Immaculata, Kasey broke the single-game assist record, with 16 assists. Additionally, she set the all-time leading assist record and is 2nd all-time in rebounds for Immaculata's women’s' basketball program.  She left college with the honors of being the top APG player in all three NCAA Divisions:  l,ll, and lll.

Upon graduation from Immaculata, Kasey went on to play overseas in Argentina.  She was selected right out of college to represent USA team through USA Athletes International in a tip-off against an Argentinian Brasilia team. After returning to the United States, Kasey continued to give back to the game through coaching and by diving into a career in athletics.  Kasey started at Central Penn in 2015 as the Head Women’s Basketball coach.  She then committed to the college full time in 2018 as an Admissions Counselor and transitioned into her role as Athletic Director in January 2020.

During her time at Central Penn, Kasey has raised the bar and continues to elevate the Athletic Department.  She has worked to improve the student-athlete intercollegiate experience athletically, academically and in the community.  Kasey believes “College athletics is special.  It has a way to bring together an entire community and creates lifelong memories for our students.  Athletics builds leaders.  And I am truly honored to play a small part in that journey.”
